Lucecita has had a remarkable career and even now at her age she continues to belt out those songs in the manner that Edith Piaf, Judy Garland, etc. Some music experts have equated her as the "Puerto Rican Streisand". Although if you listen carefully to her magnificent and priveleged voice at one of her rare concerts, she has a unique and distinctive range and style.(contralto). Roberto has had the honor and distinction of stating publicly that Lucecita has been a major influence on his musical style!
